Procedures for transitory treatment
The statutory accident insurance in Germany requires the procedure for transitory treatment.
In the event of an accident at work or on the way (to and from the workplace), only a government-approved accident insurance consultant may assume responsibility for diagnosis and initial care. A general practitioner, however, must refer the patient to an accident insurance consultant in such a case – i.e. if the statutory insurance covers the costs of treatment. A health insurance card or a health insurance certificate is not necessary in the case of the procedure for transitory treatment.
We are approved for the procedure for transitory treatment. If you suffer an accident at work or on your way to and from work, we are at your disposal for competent and comprehensive trauma-surgical initial care. We make the diagnosis, take the first steps ourselves if necessary and then usually refer you to your general practitioner or a specialist. Determining whether an accident at work or on the way to and from work is involved at all is also one of the tasks of an accident insurance consultant. We are there for you when you need us.
Both Dr. Eller and Mr. Kellermann are entitled to transitory medical care and can provide medical care in the event of an accident at work, at school or on the way to work, accompanied by a detailed report to the respective occupational insurance association of our patients.
